Why did he say this? PLEASE HELP!?

okay so i hooked up with this guy for the second time , and he asked to go further then i was comfortable with so i said no to alot and i could tell he was frustrated but i said "if you want that type of action go get my friend" so now he has been trying to get on her just because she does that stuff and he said this to her over a text : "don't bring your friend ryan she's a wierd *** and wayy ugly" like is he just saying this because hes mad and embarred of turning him down? because i sware he wouldnt say that about someone he hooked up with twice...
