Should I read this book?

Ok So I already read a book called Hereafter by Tara Hudson, it was good but not as much as I expect it to be. So the deal is that I had that book and Starcrossed by Josephine Angelini, I didn't read that one because people said it was a Twilight Rip-off, and I wanted something new. So should I read it or not? any help?
