Is Jimmy Rollins declining?

He's the one Phillies player who just seem can't break out of a funk. He was like this for a while last season too. The only thing he's got going for him is he's very good defensively, but it's going to be hard for the Phillies to lead him off otherwise. What do you think is the reason for his apparent decline since his MVP season? Did he use steroids in '06 or '07? Or do you think he was like Edgardo Alfonzo in '99 & '00, but average in all the others? What explanation do you think there could be for one year standing out that much from the other's? Do you think it's just a matter of him getting old? Or a lack of motivation?
