Please help :what must I do to type in "francais"?

The cedille (�)! On my (Swiss) keyboard it's above the number 4 key. If you have another one than that, simply go to the Windows character map and copy/paste it from there. I'm sure somebody will come up soon to tell you that there is also a combination of Alt + a number key to create this little, but important sign. I point out that only correctly written words are to be considerd credible.
