Moral issues, Dating Issues Please Help!?

I am 19 Years of age, female and I recently met a man I do like who is older than me, he is 42. I'm more concerned about how our age difference could cause problems in a relationship, such as him not wanting me for all the right reasons, just showing off he could get a younger girl. Or if it gets serious, I'm afraid he will act, naturally due to my age, as a father figure or be a bit controlling. (By the way, I am not seeking a "father figure" or a "sugar daddy" ) I just want to go into this cautiously and if anyone has been in my shoes please respond with some helpful feedback, thankyou!!
