Is it ok to interview for a job you probably will not want?

I think I've heard that it is ok to do that. I believe there is about a 75% chance that I am not going to want this job. If it's offered to me, I would turn it down as graciously and politely as I could. What do you think? Any Human Resources people out there, or maybe Career counselors? Thanks, help is greatly appreciated.
