If i have 2 xbox live account on one xbox can they both play add ons even if only one account purchased it?

i was thinking about getting my wife an xbox live account because we r getting tired of her always having to play as a guest but i was wondering if she could still play add ons that cost points even if my account was the only one that it purchased on or will i hafta buy every add on for her account too?
